I became a student to deepen my own understanding of the interconnectedness in my life and soon found great purpose in facilitating the journey for others.
After completing 3 years of training with Unergi Body Psychotherapy, I became a certified Body Psychotherapist. The Unergi Method integrates touch with the Alexander Technique, talk in the form of Gestalt Therapy, and Unergi Core-Support Movement based on the Feldenkrais Technique™ with creativity and the Healing Forces of Nature. As an active member of the United States Association for Body Psychotherapy, I stay abreast of the latest research and education in the field.
I enhance my certification with more advanced Gestalt Training with a theory and practice group created by Gestalt Therapist, Nancy Bristol, MSW, LCSW, DCSW. I am also working with Roberta Pugh, a certified Gestalt Psychotherapist and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, in ongoing studies in Gestalt Therapy Faculty Trainer with the Gestalt Center of New Jersey.
I received CranioSacral Therapy and SomatoEmotional Release® training from Celeste J. Ross, a Feldenkrais Teacher and CranioSacral Practitioner. To advance my effectiveness as a practitioner, I continue working in ongoing studies with Michal Ben-Reuven, MA who is a Guild Certified Feldenkrais® Teacher and Practitioner, and Director of the Princeton Relaxercise® Center.
In addition, I am a Reiki Master/Teacher certified under Reiki Masters, Marjorie Hursh and Maureen David. I also incorporate Young Living Essential Oils (Member No.: 999523) in my practice and every aspect of my life.
I currently work out of my professional home-office in Somerset, NJ which I share with my teenage son and daughter and her pet cockatiel.
I enjoy working with individuals, couples, families, LGBT, children and young adults, as well as Reiki for horses, dogs, cats and other pets. I cherish the testimonials from clients who say I’ve helped them discover a new awareness for how they process experiences and emotions.
